Rezvani has taken the automotive world by surprise with the official debut of the Rezvani RR1, a retro-inspired Porsche 911 conversion that blends vintage racing style with modern-day performance. Launched under Rezvani’s new Rezvani Retro division, this limited-production masterpiece made its public debut during Monterey Car Week, promising exclusivity, artistry, and serious horsepower.
With production capped at just 50 units, the RR1 is available in two distinct configurations: the RR1 600, based on the Porsche 911 Carrera T, and the RR1 750, based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Starting at $195,000 (excluding the donor car), this high-performance restomod caters to collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a unique twist on the iconic 911.
A Retro Design That Turns Heads
At first glance, the Rezvani RR1 Porsche 911 might appear to be a meticulously restored classic. In reality, it’s a modern Porsche 911 that has undergone a complete aesthetic transformation, drawing design inspiration from the most celebrated 911s of the past.
The most striking visual cue is its retro-inspired headlights, framed by a redesigned front fascia with a new grille and black air intakes. This particular launch example steals the spotlight with a Martini Racing livery in white, blue, and red, proudly wearing the number “1” on the hood and doors.
Completing the look are custom aero wheel covers finished in bright red for both style and improved aerodynamics. At the rear, new quarter panels blend seamlessly into a large fixed wing, while a redesigned bumper, diffuser, and dual tailpipes complete the transformation.
Bespoke Interior Upgrades
Step inside the Rezvani RR1, and the cabin is just as captivating as the exterior. A flat-bottom steering wheel sets the tone, complemented by blue and red cloth upholstery for the seat centers.
Adding a touch of collector-grade exclusivity are two analog Tag Heuer dashboard clocks, a wooden gear knob, new carpets, and a custom dashboard plaque identifying each build. This attention to detail elevates the driving experience beyond that of a standard Porsche 911.
Performance: Two Powerful Variants
Rezvani offers the RR1 in two performance levels:
-
RR1 600 — Based on the Porsche 911 Carrera T, it packs a 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six producing 600 horsepower. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed or 7-speed manual gearbox, or a PDK automatic, with rear-wheel drive for purist handling.
-
RR1 750 — Built from the Porsche 911 Turbo S, this version uses a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six tuned to 750 horsepower. Paired exclusively with a PDK transmission and all-wheel drive, it delivers blistering performance while maintaining traction in all conditions.
Exclusivity and Price
With only 50 units set for production, the Rezvani RR1 is as rare as it is powerful. Pricing starts at $195,000 for the conversion alone — the Porsche 911 donor car is sold separately. This makes the RR1 a serious investment for collectors seeking a limited-production Porsche restomod with motorsport heritage.
